Abdul Rehman Azmat https://gikialumni.org/giki-alumni/abdul-rehman-azmat/ Thu, 01 Jan 2026 06:45:38 +0000 https://gikialumni.org/?post_type=giki-alumni&p=5762 On the first day Abdul Rehman walked into Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute, he carried a backpack full of books — and a head full of questions. From those early days among labs and lecture halls, he began to shape a journey that would take him from Pakistan to the world of global energy, analytics, and business. After graduating from GIKI in 2012, he joined Schlumberger, learning how theory meets reality in the field. He later explored production engineering in Poland with PGNiG, and even built dashboards that helped leaders make smarter decisions during an internship at Thermo Fisher Scientific — long before many knew what Power BI even was.

Driven by curiosity, Abdul Rehman combined his technical roots with strategic thinking by earning an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Today, his story speaks of courage to explore, adaptability across cultures, and the relentless pursuit of growth. 🛫📊💡
Every graduate from GIKI has a story — and this is just one of many.
